Job summary

Luxasia Group in Jakarta is seeking an Import Team Intern to gain hands-on experience moving products from overseas brand partners into the Indonesian market. You will support PO tracking, shipment, and customs documentation, and assist with landed cost calculations.

The role involves coordinating with freight forwarders, brokers, and warehouse staff, data entry in Excel or internal systems, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Detail oriented with accuracy and consistency in repetitive tasks.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; comfortable with trackers and Excel.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

As an Import Team Intern, you'll get hands‑on exposure to how a luxury goods distributor moves products from overseas brand partners into the Indonesian market. You'll support the team across purchase order tracking, shipment and customs documentation, landed cost and duty calculations, and coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Import Team in tracking purchase orders and shipment schedules from brand partners to arrival in Indonesia.
• Assist in preparing and checking import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other customs‑related paperwork) for accuracy and completeness.
• Help monitor shipments in transit and flag potential delays or discrepancies to the team.
• Support basic landed cost calculations (duties, taxes, freight) to help the team understand true product cost.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and the warehouse team to help ensure smooth, timely stock handovers.
• Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting in Excel or the team's internal systems (e.g., shipment trackers, inventory arrival logs).
• Support ad hoc supply chain projects and process‑improvement initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, preferably those who have completed their thesis and are no longer attending classes.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Detail oriented, well structured, and comfortable handling repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
• Fast learner, proactive, agile, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with experience using trackers, Excel, and databases.
• Strong interest in luxury beauty brands and the cosmetics industry.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and able to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
