Job summary

Stie Yai invites you to join our Import & Logistics internship in Jakarta. You will support the team in tracking purchase orders and shipments, and assist in compiling import paperwork for accuracy and completeness.

You will develop skills in landed cost calculations, data tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with freight forwarders, brokers, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; fresh graduates welcome.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Detail oriented, well structured, comfortable with repetitive tasks.
• Fast learner, proactive, agile in a dynamic environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience using trackers and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track purchase orders and shipment schedules from brand partners to arrival in Indonesia.
• Assist in preparing import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin) for accuracy.
• Monitor shipments in transit and flag delays or discrepancies to the team.
• Help with landed cost calculations (duties, taxes, freight) to understand true product cost.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse team for timely stock handovers.
• Data entry, tracking, and reporting in Excel or internal systems; support ad hoc projects.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support the Import Team in tracking purchase orders and shipment schedules from brand partners to arrival in Indonesia.
• Assist in preparing and checking import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other customs-related paperwork) for accuracy and completeness.
• Help monitor shipments in transit and flag potential delays or discrepancies to the team.
• Support basic landed cost calculations (duties, taxes, freight) to help the team understand true product cost.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and the warehouse team to help ensure smooth, timely stock handovers.
• Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting in Excel or the team's internal systems (e.g., shipment trackers, inventory arrival logs).
• Support ad hoc supply chain projects and process‑improvement initiatives as needed.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree holders; fresh graduates who have completed their thesis and are no longer attending classes are welcome.
