Job summary

PT Indofresh is seeking a Buyer (Mandarin Speaker) to support our FMCG sourcing and supplier management in Jakarta. You will identify international suppliers, negotiate terms, and evaluate performance to secure best opportunities for products.

The role requires Mandarin fluency, strong communication, and willingness to travel. Prior buyer experience is a plus, and placement is in Ancol, North Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Chinese Literature or related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin (HSK 3 or higher).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience as Import Buyer preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel for business trips.
• Willing to be placed in Ancol, North Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Look for new international suppliers/vendors in FMCG sector.
• Negotiate with suppliers/vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers/vendors.
• Analyze opportunities for new products.
• Check and manage stock to avoid oversupply.
• Manage risk calculations for products.
• Understand import documents and liaise with documents team.
