Magnum Ice Cream Company in Indonesia seeks a Payroll SME to support end-to-end payroll operations for Indonesia, ensuring accurate processing and compliance across regulations. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to deliver reliable payroll services and drive process improvements.

Key duties include validating inputs, reconciling payroll, managing vendor relationships, preparing statutory filings, and delivering dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of Indonesia payroll processes, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with payroll vendors and outsourced payroll models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Approachable, proactive, and customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Prepare and validate statutory filings, payroll reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support payment validation, payroll funding coordination, and SOX/audit requirements.
• Prepare payroll dashboards, metrics, and analysis for business and HR stakeholders.
• Maintain payroll SOPs, process documentation, checklists, and knowledge materials.
• Identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Purpose

The Payroll SME is responsible for supporting end-to-end payroll operations for Indonesia, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, effective vendor management, and excellent employee support. This role works closely with HR, Finance, Treasury, and external payroll vendors to deliver a high-quality payroll service while driving process improvements and maintaining strong payroll controls.
