Job summary

PT Bahtera Global Solusi is seeking a Sales Engineer (Coding & Marking Division) to bridge technical sales in Greater Jakarta. The role includes identifying client needs, delivering technical presentations, and supporting the sales team to close deals in a hybrid work setup.

You'll travel to customer sites, work with cross-functional teams, and apply knowledge of printing technologies and vision systems to tailor solutions for F&B, FMCG, pharmaceutical and printing industries.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of sales experience with an industry client base.
Knowledge of printing technologies: TIJ, CIJ, PIJ, DOD, TTO, laser marking, vision systems.
Proficient in sales engineering and technical support.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to identify client needs and tailor solutions.
Hybrid work capability with on-site/remote tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop understanding of PT. Bahtera Global Solusi products.
Collaborate with experienced salespeople to improve skills through real-world examples and role-play.
Research and document business prospects and opportunities.
Provide consulting and technical services to customers to solve their needs using PT. Bahtera Global Solusi products.
Work in the full sales cycle: finding, developing, submitting proposals, negotiating, and closing deals.
Travel to customer locations and work in various manufacturing environments.
Understand customer needs and respond to requests.
Drive market share growth in the assigned sales territory.
Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
