Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to design mechanical and control systems for on-site customer projects. You will help design, program, install, and verify control solutions across various facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with building automation, chiller plant control, and energy performance measurement, along with readiness to travel across Indonesia as the main project contact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar HVAC/controls role.
• Experience in product development from customer inquiry to system design and sourcing.
• Broad knowledge of control systems and automation.
• Willing to travel to job sites around Indonesia and be the main project contact.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Review and design mechanical/control systems.
• Supervise installation of mechanical/control.
• Programming and testing Comm control.
• HVAC energy performance measurement and verification.
• Building Automation System design, including Chiller Plant Control for HVAC system.
• Variable Primary Flow chiller plant control system design and implementation.
• Testing automation system design and MES development.

Where is the work:

Field-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

What’s in it for you:

HVAC Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by designing complex control programming of equipment on assigned projects. May provide coaching, act as subject matter experts for less experienced programmer/technicians and customers and may provide sales support to account managers.

• Willing to travel to job site around Indonesia and being main contact person of the project
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or related
