Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with MV switchgear, electrical panel modification, or industrial power distribution.
• Strong knowledge of MV electrical schematics, CT/VT circuits, and power metering.
• Understanding of protection relays, breaker control circuits, electrical interlocks, and remote-control interfaces.

Aufgaben

• Review existing MV single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and terminal plans.
• Design modifications to MV panels for additional power meters, power analyzers, monitoring signals, and remote breaker control.
• Coordinate with the automation engineer on electrical interfaces required for remote control and monitoring.
• Prepare electrical inspection and testing procedures and perform wiring verification against drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations (PUIL/SNI) and IEC standards for MV switchgear and protection.

MV Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a competent MV Electrical Engineer to support medium-voltage switchgear modification projects in industrial facilities and power generation installations.

The primary responsibilities include modifying existing MV panels, installing power meters and power analyzers, modifying breaker control circuits for remote operation, integrating protection and monitoring signals, and performing electrical wiring verification and functional testing.

The candidate must have a strong understanding of MV switchgear, CT/VT circuits, protection relays, breaker control circuits, electrical schematics, and applicable Indonesian electrical regulations and international standards.

This position focuses on MV electrical engineering, panel modification, protection and control circuits, and electrical testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.MV Switchgear Modification

• Review existing MV single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and terminal plans.
• Design modifications to existing MV panels for additional power meters, power analyzers, monitoring signals, and remote breaker control.

2.MV Metering and Instrument

• Design and review existing MV single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and terminal plans.
• Design modifications to existing MV panels for additional power meters, power analyzers, monitoring signals, and remote breaker control.

3.MV Protection and Breaker Control Circuit

• Understand MV circuit-breaker OPEN/CLOSE control circuits, trip circuits, close circuits, and auxiliary contacts.
• Coordinate with the automation engineer on the electrical interfaces required for remote control and monitoring.

4.Electrical Testing and Commissioning

• Prepare electrical inspection and testing procedures.
• Perform wiring continuity checks and verify connections against approved drawings.

5.Standards, Regulation and Electrical Safety

• Understand applicable Indonesian electricity regulations, PUIL/SNI requirements, and relevant PLN technical requirements where applicable.
• Apply relevant IEC standards for MV switchgear, instrument transformers, protection relays, and electrical measuring equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Practical experience with MV switchgear, electrical panel modification, or industrial power distribution systems.
• Strong knowledge of MV electrical schematics, CT/VT circuits, and power metering.
• Understanding of protection relays, breaker control circuits, electrical interlocks, and remote-control interfaces.
• Experience in wiring verification, secondary injection testing, electrical troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Ability to interpret applicable Indonesian regulations and relevant international standards.
• Good technical documentation and problem-solving skills.
