Qualifications

• Knowledge of company, facility, and project HSES terms, requirements, and deliverables.
• Maintain key competencies in the HSES function.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Conflict resolution and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of HSES plans, procedures and instructions.
• Provide HSES guidance to frontline supervision and field personnel.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior HSES staff.
• Assist in HSES prequalification of subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with safe work practices.
• Participate in risk assessments and maintain risk registries.
• Develop and execute HSES activity plans.
• Create Toolbox Talk (TBT) plans and materials.
• Observe and assist supervision during TBT delivery.
• Assist with planning of Permit to Work (PTW) processes, inspections and PTW controls.
• Assist in preparing and conducting HSES audits and inspections.
• Initiate, monitor and report on audit/inspection findings.
• Contribute to HSES initiatives and emergency response drills.
• Participate in incident investigations and report preparation.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of HSES plans, procedures and instructions


• Provide HSES guidance to frontline supervision and field personnel


• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior HSES staff


• Assist in HSES Prequalification subcontractors and vendors


• Monitor subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance to safe work practices


• Participate in risk assessments and ensure risk registries are maintained up to date


• Participate and execute HSES activity plan

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent in HSES related subject


• 5 years of Oil and Gas HSES experience


• Conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulations


• Familiar with all company, facility, and project specific HSES terms, requirements, and deliverables


• Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function


• Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken


• Good interpersonal skills


• Conflict Resolution skills and leadership skills
