Job summary

PT Sunrise Wheel Indonesia in Central Java is seeking a proactive Safety/HSE professional to lead K3 programs, conduct inspections, and perform risk assessments within our manufacturing environment.

You will develop safety procedures, deliver toolbox talks, investigate accidents, manage PPE use, and ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations while supporting audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in K3, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• Valid K3 certification (AK3 Umum or other relevant certifications).
• Minimum 3 years in Safety/HSE or Safety Engineering in manufacturing.
• Familiar with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese; HSK is an advantage.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, independent and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor K3 programs per regulations and policies.
• Conduct safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Monitor compliance with K3, environmental, and health standards.
• Develop safety procedures, work instructions, and emergency plans.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; prepare corrective actions.
• Ensure proper PPE use and adherence to safety procedures.
• Support environmental programs including waste management and pollution prevention.
• Maintain K3 and environmental documentation, reports, permits.
• Support internal and external K3/environmental audits.

Key responsibilities :

• - Develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety (K3) programs in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies
• - Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments to identify potential workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
• - Monitor and ensure compliance with K3, environmental protection, and occupational health standards and regulations
• - Develop and implement safety procedures, work instructions, and emergency response plans
• - Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and safety awareness programs for employees
• - Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• - Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure employees comply with safety procedures
• - Support the implementation and monitoring of environmental protection programs, including waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental compliance
• - Maintain and prepare K3 and environmental documentation, reports, inspection records, and permits as required
• - Support internal and external K3/environmental audits and inspections

About you

• - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
• - Possess a valid K3 certification, preferably AK3 Umum or other relevant K3 certifications
• - Minimum 3 years of experience in Safety, HSE/EHS, or Safety Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• - Familiar with environmental protection, occupational health, and workplace safety practices and regulations
• - Good understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, safety inspection, accident investigation, and emergency response
• - Familiar with K3 regulations and the implementation of safety procedures and programs
• - Able to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese for daily work coordination; HSK certification is an advantage
• - Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• - Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team
