Job summary

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced HR professional to support the Director of HR in Jakarta, overseeing daily HR operations and administration, and guiding department heads on HR matters.

You will contribute to manpower planning, employee development, career progression, and a positive workplace environment, while preparing HR reports to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations and Administration.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Passionate about people development and creating a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of HR in overseeing daily HR operations and HR administration.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and Department Heads on HR-related matters.
