Job summary

CNGR Indonesia is seeking an HR Manager to lead site HR operations at the Morowali mining project. You will serve as the HR partner for site management, handling employee relations, compliance, and workforce administration in a multicultural setting.

The role requires strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, experience with large blue-collar workforces, and fluency in Mandarin and Indonesian. Based in Morowali on an 8:2 roster, with exposure to cross-cultural management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Manager role.
• Mandatory experience in mining, smelter, heavy industry, or industrial projects.
• Fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia; English is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian Labor Law, industrial relations, and employee dispute handling.
• Proven experience managing large blue-collar workforces in a site-based environment.
• Willing to work on an 8:2 roster and be based in Morowali.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workforce administration, attendance, roster management, onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation.
• Support performance management, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives at site.
• Prepare HR reports, manpower analysis, and compliance documentation for management.
• Foster effective communication between local employees and Chinese management through Mandarin.
