Job summary

BYD Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations in Indonesia, ensuring regulatory compliance and scalable business support. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and labor relations while maintaining accurate HR records.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or large multinational environments, with strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and payroll practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR operations experience, preferably in manufacturing or large multinational enterprises.
• Strong mastery of end-to-end payroll computation, compensation and benefits, and Indonesian manpower regulations.
• Experience with employment contracts (PKWT/PKWTT) and grievance handling under Indonesian labor laws.
• Brevet A/B tax certification or training in payroll/employment taxation is a plus.
• Fluent English; Mandarin is advantageous for cross-border alignment.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Development: lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
• Compensation, Benefits & Payroll: oversee monthly payroll, tax computations, and statutory benefits administration.
• Employee Relations & Manpower Compliance: manage labor relations and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Expatriate Management: handle work permits, visas, ITAS/KITAS, and residency compliance.
• Policies, SOPs & Documentation: maintain HR records and update policies and procedures.
• HR Reporting & Continuous Improvement: generate HR metrics and drive process improvements.
