Qualifications

Monitor and control housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring cost-effective procurement and storage

Address guest complaints and concerns related to room cleanliness and maintenance promptly and professionally

Maintain detailed records of room status, maintenance issues and staff performance

Collaborate with other departments including maintenance, front office and management to resolve operational issues

Conduct staff training on cleaning procedures, safety protocols and customer service excellence

Identify areas for operational improvement and implement efficiency measures

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and property policies

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards and maintenance procedures
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in housekeeping management systems and basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
• Problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards relevant to hospitality
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends
• Certification in housekeeping management or hospitality is preferred
