Job summary

Travelio is seeking a housekeeping manager to oversee daily housekeeping activities, including scheduling, training, and performance management. The role focuses on fostering teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail, while developing staff schedules and inventory control.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction, and will lead initiatives for professional development and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working in a housekeeping management role.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily activities of housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Develop and manage housekeeping staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficient task completion.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that necessary cleaning materials are always available.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements for cleaning products.
• Provide opportunities for professional development and advancement within the team.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Engineering, Inventory and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Address cross-functional issues and work towards overall guest satisfaction.
