Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. is seeking a Hotel Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily shift operations across Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry as applicable.

You will direct teams to maintain clean guestrooms, public spaces and employee areas, and you will ensure inspections and corrective actions are carried out. This management role focuses on guest and employee satisfaction while monitoring operating budgets and working with Engineering for guestrooms maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area.
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk promptly.
• Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and inventory of supplies.
• Conducts inspections and enforces standards for guestrooms and public spaces.
• Manages departmental costs to meet budgeted goals.
• Addresses guest problems and seeks continual service improvement.
• Participates in hiring and training of staff.
