Job summary

Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily engineering operations, coordinate the team, and ensure all hotel facilities and systems are well-maintained and safe.

You will support the Chief Engineer, conduct regular inspections, manage preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and contribute to energy-saving initiatives in a busy resort setting.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in a hotel environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and building regulations.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance reporting software.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering operations, including maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of engineering team members.
• Ensure all hotel equipment, systems, and facilities operate efficiently and safely.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules and tracking system performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and hotel policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to support operational needs and minimize disruptions.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
• Assist in inventory control of engineering supplies, tools, and spare parts.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.
• Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Chief Engineer when required.
