This is an Engineering Supervisor position responsible for overseeing daily engineering and maintenance operations across all villas, public areas, and back-of-house facilities in a luxury hospitality environment. The role involves supervising engineering teams, managing MEP systems, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to guest complaints and emergencies, and ensuring all facilities operate safely and efficiently according to company standards.
Key responsibilities
Supervise daily engineering and maintenance operations across all villas, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for buildings, equipment, and engineering systems
Monitor and maintain Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems including electrical panels, pumps, water systems, plumbing, lighting, and air-conditioning
Ensure all guest villas and facilities are maintained in good condition and prioritize maintenance requests affecting guest comfort
Supervise and allocate daily tasks to Engineering Technicians and monitor attendance, productivity, work quality, and discipline
Respond promptly to engineering-related guest complaints and operational emergencies
Monitor swimming pool equipment, pumps, filtration systems, water tanks, and water distribution systems
Monitor electricity, water, and other utility consumption and identify areas for energy efficiency
Maintain proper records of engineering inventory, tools, spare parts, and usage
Ensure all engineering work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
About you
Minimum Diploma (D1/D2/D3) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Engineering, MEP, or a related technical field
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Engineering/Maintenance, preferably with at least 1 year in a supervisory position
Previous experience in a hotel, resort, luxury villa, or hospitality environment is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, pumps, and general property maintenance
Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Able to lead, supervise, and motivate a technical team
Good planning, coordination, and time-management skills
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call/emergency situations when required
