Job summary

Pullman Jakarta Indonesia is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering Department, ensuring building systems, utilities, and facilities are maintained safely, reliably, and cost-effectively for a luxury city hotel.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensure compliance with Pullman, Accor, and local safety standards, and drive preventive maintenance, energy management, and capital projects with a focus on guest comfort and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant hotel engineering experience in luxury properties.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, preventive maintenance, and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Engineering Department's daily operations.
• Ensure all hotel facilities and building systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance programs and energy management.
• Coordinate major repairs and capital projects with contractors and other departments.
• Maintain engineering records, budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
