Job summary

Monsieur Spoon seeks a Learning & Development Specialist to design and deliver training across its restaurant, bakery and café outlets. You will work with operations to identify competency gaps and build engaging programs that uplift service and product knowledge.

Travel to outlets will be required to coach teams, monitor training implementation and assess effectiveness. A relevant degree and 2+ years in L&D or hospitality training is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree (D3/S1) in Psychology, Education, Management, Hospitality, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Hospitality, F&B, Bakery, Café, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of F&B operations, service excellence, product knowledge, and SOP implementation.
• Experience in delivering training for operational teams in restaurant, bakery, café, or hospitality industry.
• Excellent public speaking, facilitation, coaching, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to develop and deliver engaging training programs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel to outlets or operational locations when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate training programs for Monsieur Spoon employees based on operational and organizational needs.
• Conduct training related to service excellence, product knowledge, operational SOPs, and employee competencies.
• Support the onboarding and development of employees across Monsieur Spoon's operational teams.
• Conduct coaching and provide feedback to support employee performance and capability development.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare training reports.
• Identify competency gaps and training needs in coordination with operational teams.
• Continuously improve training materials, learning methods, and development programs to support operational excellence.
• Conduct regular outlet visits to monitor training implementation and employee development.
