Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Commercial Director to lead the hotel’s commercial strategy across all revenue streams, including Rooms, F&B, Leisure, and events. The role partners with General Managers and Finance to drive top-line growth and profitability, while aligning on-property and regional sales, marketing, and eCommerce efforts.

The position requires 8+ years in hospitality commercial roles, strong leadership, and a proven ability to present strategic plans to executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in a revenue-generating or commercial role within hospitality or travel.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing sales or commercial teams.
• Proven experience presenting strategic plans to senior executives and stakeholder groups.
• Strong background in cross-functional collaboration within matrixed environments.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
• Track record of identifying and evaluating new business opportunities.
• Experience in multi-complex hotel or travel industry operations.
• Cross-disciplinary exposure to Marketing, E-commerce, and Finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial strategy and execution: Develop and implement integrated commercial strategies across all revenue streams to drive top-line performance and market share growth.
• Maximize revenue and profitability: Partner with General Managers and Finance to ensure commercial decisions support revenue goals, optimize cost of sales, and deliver profit and margin targets.
• Lead pricing and forecasting strategy: Oversee revenue management practices, including pricing, rate strategies, demand forecasting, and business reviews, to optimize revenue across all segments.
• Align sales and marketing efforts: Coordinate on-property and regional sales, marketing, eCommerce, and public relations activities to support brand positioning and drive demand.
• Adapt to market dynamics: Monitor trends, assess competitive landscape, and adjust commercial strategies to stay ahead in evolving market conditions.
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships: Build trusted relationships with owners, operators, Hilton corporate teams, and external partners to align goals and create long-term commercial value.
• Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs.
