Job summary

Savaya Group in Bali is seeking an engineering professional to maintain high‑volume hospitality venues, lead preventative maintenance, respond to operational issues, and drive energy efficiency. You will work with venue leaders and cross‑functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and uninterrupted guest experiences across kitchens, pools, event spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating preventative, reactive, and scheduled maintenance
• Inspecting buildings, plant rooms, kitchens, guest areas, pools, and technical equipment
• Responding promptly to equipment failures, defects, and operational emergencies
• Maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, water, and mechanical systems
• Monitoring maintenance logs, work orders, response times, and recurring faults
• Working with external contractors, technicians, suppliers, and service providers
• Supporting statutory inspections, permits, certifications, and technical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, fire safety, and environmental standards
• Monitoring energy, water, and utility consumption and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Supporting the maintenance budget, purchasing processes, stock control, and cost management
• Inspecting completed works and ensuring repairs meet required quality standards
• Supporting engineering recruitment, training, scheduling, and team development
• Preparing maintenance reports, capital-expenditure proposals, and operational updates
• Supporting venue openings, renovations, equipment installation, and project handovers
• Working with Operations to maintain a safe, comfortable, and uninterrupted guest experience
