Job summary

PT Mastratech Indonesia is seeking a Product Technical Support Specialist for Hose to serve as a technical resource for the Hose & Fitting range. You will provide pre-sales and post-sales support to internal teams, resellers, and customers.

Responsibilities include creating project documentation, assisting with product setup and testing, reading drawings and specs, and delivering basic training to sales teams and partners. Will travel on-site as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in hose, hydraulic, or high-pressure equipment industry.
• Knowledge of hose types and materials.
• Ability to cross-reference from multiple hose brands.
• Hose crimping and assembly to standards.
• Pressure testing and leak testing; read technical drawings and specs; understanding ISO/SAE safety standards.
• Fast problem-solving, clear technical communication, detail-oriented inspections; teamwork and good presentation.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus; willingness to travel/on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical resource for the Hose & Fitting product range.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to internal teams, resellers, and customers.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist with product setup, calibration recommendations, and basic troubleshooting.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend the appropriate solution based on the application.
• Support sales team by providing technical explanations during meetings, presentations, or demos.
• Assist in preparing user guides, presentations, comparison sheets, and other educational material.
• Deliver basic product training to sales teams, end users, and partners.
• Gather feedback from users to understand technical challenges or feature needs.
• Work closely with sales and service teams to align technical activities with business goals.
• Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and customer visits as a technical representative.
