Job summary

Austin Engineering Ltd is seeking a Warehouse/Material Control professional to support organization, labeling, and movement of steel plates and metal materials. You will assist in keeping stocks ready for production and collaborate across the warehouse, workshop, and production areas.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in warehouse or manufacturing environments, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• SMA/SMK or equivalent education minimum.
• At least 1 year in warehouse/material control or manufacturing.
• Experience in heavy equipment or metal manufacturing preferred.
• Able to identify, sort, and organize materials accurately.
• Willing to work in a workshop and production environment.
• Physically fit for material handling tasks.
• Forklift license and/or overhead crane certification is a plus.
• Highly responsible, disciplined and a team player.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for supporting material control activities to ensure materials, such as steel plates and other metal materials, are properly organized, identified, and available for production and assist the Material Control team in arranging, handling, and moving materials between the warehouse, workshop, and production areas to ensure materials are ready and available according to production schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange and prepare such as steel plates materials, etc according to production needs and schedules.
• Organize materials after bending, rolling, machining, and fabrication processes.
• Identify, label, and sort materials correctly.
• Move materials between the warehouse, workshop, and production areas.
• Assist in checking material quantities and stock availability.
• Keep material storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, material control such as steel plates and other metal materials, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in Heavy Equipment, Facility Maintenance, EPC, Steel Manufacturing, or Heavy Manufacturing is preferred
• Able to identify, sort, and organize materials correctly.
• Willing and able to work in a workshop and production environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform material handling activities.
• Forklift License (SIO) and/or Overhead Crane (OHC) certification is an advantage.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work well in a team.
