Job description

This role involves managing factory production material requirements, coordinating with procurement teams, and optimizing inventory and production processes through ERP system operations and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

Determine factory production material requirements based on production schedules and material lead times; coordinate with the procurement team to place orders and track material delivery timelines

Track material consumption data, monitor loss rates for both direct and indirect materials, and drive production process optimizations

Monitor inventory levels (in terms of days of supply) for raw materials and consumables; provide early warnings and implement optimization measures

Follow up on issues such as quality anomalies in incoming materials, material damage, and inventory discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions

Perform ERP system operations, including calculating raw material requirements via MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and issuing purchase orders

About you

Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, or a related field

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Material Control, Inventory Control, Warehouse Administration, or Material Planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using ERP/MRP or inventory management systems

Fluent in Mandarin is preferred
