Job summary

PT Platinumetrix Global Inovasi is seeking an HL7 FHIR Health Information System and Interoperability Specialist to analyze healthcare workflows and support integration across HIS, EMR, and EHR systems.

The role focuses on implementing HL7 v2 and HL7 FHIR, configuring interfaces, and ensuring secure, compliant data exchange with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, health informatics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare IT, system integration or HIS/EMR.
• Experience with HIS/EMR, hospital management systems or healthcare apps.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 and HL7 FHIR interoperability.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, JSON, XML and web services.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and healthcare data management.
• Experience in data mapping, interface configuration, and system integration testing.
• Understanding of healthcare workflows and data exchange.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and healthcare stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare business processes and system requirements to support HIS implementation.
• Support integration and interoperability of healthcare applications (HIS, EMR, EHR).
• Develop, configure, and maintain system interfaces and data exchange mechanisms.
• Implement HL7 v2 and HL7 FHIR interoperability standards.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, and XML to facilitate healthcare data exchange.
• Perform healthcare data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization.
• Conduct system integration testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.

HL7 FHIR- Health Information System and Interoperability Specialist

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, system integration, health information systems, or a related role.

Experience working with HIS, EMR/EHR, hospital management systems, or other healthcare applications.

Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, particularly HL7 and HL7 FHIR.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and web services.

Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and healthcare data management.

Experience in data mapping, interface configuration, system integration testing, and troubleshooting.

Understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical data, and healthcare information exchange.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and healthcare stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing healthcare system integrations across multiple applications.

Familiarity with healthcare integration engines such as Mirth Connect / NextGen Connect or similar tools.

Knowledge of healthcare terminology and coding standards, such as ICD-10, SNOMED CT, and LOINC.

Experience with healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

Programming experience in Java, Python, PHP, or other relevant languages is an advantage.
