Job summary

Nimbly Technologies is seeking a hands-on executive to own finance, legal, business operations, and HR. Working directly with the CEO, you will translate analysis into decisive actions, protect cash, and strengthen execution across the business.

Job description

The role

We are looking for a hands‑on leader to own finance, legal, business operations, and HR. Working directly with the CEO, you will turn analysis into decisions, protect cash, and strengthen execution across the business. You will lead internal teams and external specialists while personally owning financial planning and critical operating priorities.

What you will own

Finance and investor relations

• Own budgets, rolling forecasts, financial models, and cash planning, guiding decisions on growth, spending, hiring, and runway.
• Track SaaS performance, including recurring revenue, retention, churn, margins, and acquisition efficiency.
• Partner with commercial leaders on pricing and investment decisions.
• Ensure accurate, timely accounts, billing, collections, and payments, supported by sound internal controls.
• Coordinate tax, audit, statutory reporting, and multi-entity reporting with advisers.
• Prepare board reports and investor updates with the CEO. Maintain reliable metrics and data rooms, and support fundraising, due diligence, and investor questions.

Legal and corporate governance

• Manage contract reviews and approvals, corporate records, renewals, and key legal obligations.

Business operations

• Set cross-functional priorities, owners, and deadlines with department leaders. Review progress, resolve obstacles, and follow through on decisions.
• Improve purchasing, vendor management, approvals, documentation, and workflows. Use automation to reduce turnaround time, errors, and costs, and free up team capacity.

HR and people operations

• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compensation with managers and HR support. Help managers address performance issues promptly and fairly.
• Oversee payroll, employment records, policies, and employee relations.
• Coordinate local employment compliance with advisers and handle sensitive matters discreetly.

Experience and capabilities

• Typically 8 or more years in finance, including leadership and hands‑on ownership of FP&A, accounting, cash management, and business partnering.
• Experience building processes in a startup, scale‑up, or growing business with limited resources. SaaS or recurring-revenue experience is particularly valuable.
• Strong financial modelling and spreadsheet skills, with the ability to explain assumptions and reconcile the numbers.
• Experience managing business operations and HR, directly or through specialists. Experience coordinating external counsel is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English for engaging founders, investors, and functional leaders.
• Professional Bahasa Indonesia for local team and operational matters.
• CA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications are welcome. We place significant weight on what you have built, improved, and delivered.
