About The Challenge

1 year after being acquired by Lifull Connect, our business in Indonesia is profitable and positioned to grow aggressively over the coming years. As the largest proptech in Indonesia, we operate various business models across multiple brands and 3 entities. That's a lot of financial complexity, we need someone who can turn it into clarity: clean consolidated numbers and above all a finance function that scales with the business rather than slowing it down.

If this is the kind of challenge that energizes you rather than overwhelms you, we should talk

You will play a key role in overseeing finance operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. This position is a crucial part of our Indonesian management team, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to support our growth and success for our group consisting of 3 entities in Indonesia. Management at Lamudi does not manage from high above, we are builders who don’t mind rolling up our sleeves to overcome challenges together with the team.

What a day at work for you will look like

  • You will lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and provide guidance and training to team members, promoting their professional growth
  • You will work on Financial Planning and Analysis; Develop and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and projections, analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes
  • You will manage cash flow and working capital to support the company's operations and growth initiatives, optimize cash management processes and maintain banking relationships
  • You will communicate financial information clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders, aiding their understanding of financial performance.
  • You will collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners, to gather necessary data and insights for financial analysis
  • You will prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for the region, ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations
  • You will work across a variety of finance and ERP systems, and look for opportunities to use AI and automation to make the finance function faster and more effective
  • You will coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and tax filings
Is this you?
  • A spider in the web: Multitasking is your second nature, you thrive dealing with many moving pieces and tying them all up into one harmonious result, to the benefit of your stakeholders
  • A hands-on Leader: Leads by example and directly involved in the operational aspects of the work, providing guidance, support, and practical assistance to the team
  • A builder and a scaler: Equally comfortable creating structure and process from scratch (zero-to-one) and operating with the rigor and standards of a larger, more established organization - and knows when to apply each
  • A mentor: Someone who can function as a sparring partner and teacher at the same time
  • A spreadsheet wizard: Someone who can turn complex data into insights with ease
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards, with experience in Sales Finance / Operation Finance / Audit liaison in a complex organisation
  • Strong consolidation and financial reporting expertise with previous experience of working in a Group role and Group consolidations for Large Corporates or Listed Companies
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-growth environment (e.g. having helped scale revenue and/or headcount multiple times over in a short period), combined with the flexibility, adaptability, and proactive attitude needed for a fast-paced, multi-entity organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required
  • Comfortable working across a range of finance systems and tools; not a technologist, but a genuine affinity for technology and a vision for how AI can enhance finance workflows is highly beneficial (though not a strict requirement)
  • Genuine track record of developing finance talent and building competency within a team
  • Good leadership skills, including the ability to delegate, supervise and see tasks through from start to finish
  • Native level Bahasa Indonesia speaker, fluent in English
