Job summary

CIMB Niaga is seeking a Leader for Business Planning & Analytics to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance management in Jakarta. You will translate financial data into actionable insights, coordinate with Finance, Risk, and Business heads, and steer strategic planning to align with the bank's direction.

The role requires strong communication, analytical rigor, and capability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver accurate forecasts and reporting for local and group needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee annual budgeting process and rolling forecasting process
• Provide reasonable budget considering historical trend, actual baseline & referenced assumptions
• Ensure the alignment of budget with business direction & strategy through intense communication and coordination with key stakeholders
• Translate Balance Sheet & Income Statement number into relevant leading indicator
• Identify the budget risk and develop the mitigation plan
• Perform peers comparison and benchmark of market dynamic to understand the competition, market share, demographic trends & industry growth
• Assess sales force productivity & capacity level required to achieve the budget
• Design strategic plan & improvement recommendation
• Write up Business Plan to Regulatory (RBB) and Annual Report
• Convey the key message in the strategy deck with supporting detail in all required budget templates for both local & group
• Evaluate financial achievement leveraging all available data sources
• Review Loan & Deposit Movement: disbursement/placement, repayment/withdrawal, phase out or exit strategy realisation with necessary breakdown (by product, by status, etc)
• Review Profitability Profile: NII, NoII & Shadow Income, Opex, Provision & HOCA
• Perform in-depth analysis on the key driver, root cause of issues & parameters behind budget to develop factual recommendation action to close the gap
• Validate & prepare monthly forecast number based on progress of actual achievements & upcoming potential uplift
• Consolidate & maintain BAU performance report emphasizing key highlight for both local & group, i.e PMM, GCBMC, GALCO
• Prepare any ad-hoc presentation pack for Business Head, i.e Group visit, Kick off, CEO review or follow up of specific issue, etc
• Enhance & improve the reports to keep relevant & in line with the business direction
• Collaborate & coordinate with other cross-functional teams, i.e Finance, Risk Management, Transaction Banking, Syariah, etc
• Provide overview & valuable insights for Business Head to take necessary actions in achieving budget
• Support bankwide strategic initiatives as well as group Regional Operating Model
