Job summary

IDS Medical Systems (idsMED) in Indonesia seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering department, drive service excellence, and oversee projects across hospital service environments.

You will develop and coach engineering teams, manage inventory and spares, ensure ISO/GDPMD compliance, and build strong relationships with hospitals and customers to sustain high quality service. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–10 years in medical equipment or hospital service environments.
• Proven leadership and project/operational management experience.

• Manage inventory, working capital, spare parts planning, and engineering resources to optimize productivity.
• Build strong relationships with customers, hospitals, principals, and key stakeholders to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolve technical and operational issues, and identify new service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field; Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the medical equipment industry, including hospital service environments.
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Strong project management and operational management experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in quality systems, service operations, inventory management, and customer service management.
