Job summary

Peoplyee in Tangerang seeks a General Manager of Research and Development for the Process Division to lead manufacturing process improvements and automation initiatives across the plant. You will manage the R&D and Process Engineering teams, drive cross‑functional projects with Production, IT and Engineering, and evaluate new technologies for cost‑efficient production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, business‑level English, Mandarin preferred, and at least 10 years in

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Business-level English; Mandarin preferred.
• 10+ years in R&D or Process Engineering in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of managerial experience within the same company.
• Strong knowledge of automation, PLC programming, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, production systems, and technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and develop manufacturing automation systems.
• Lead automation and digitalization projects across manufacturing operations.
• Perform programmable logic controller programming, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Lead process and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
• Develop, manage, and mentor the R&D and Process Engineering teams.
• Coordinate projects with Production, Engineering, IT, and other departments.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, systems, and equipment.
