Job summary

PermataBank in Indonesia is seeking a senior strategist to advise the board and executive team, identifying strategic options and opportunities aligned with the bank's goals. The role emphasizes rigorous financial and risk understanding and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead performance analyses, feasibility studies, and project governance, delivering clear milestones and actionable plans while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in banking, consulting, or corporate planning with strong financial/risk understanding.
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience or proven leadership role.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning, budgeting, performance management, and project governance.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and executive-level stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to the BOD and Div. Head PMO on strategic options and opportunities aligning with the bank's strategy.
• Analyze performance analyses, deep-dive analyses, and feasibility study recommendations to ensure quality.
• Provide clear milestones and action plans for project teams when undertaking whitespace projects and be fully responsible for delivery.
• Establish a productive, positive working environment and manage sensitive information in line with approved frameworks.

Job Description :

• Provide recommendation and analysis to the BOD and Div. Head PMO regarding strategic options and opportunities that may benefit the Bank's strategy related process and alignment.


• Analyze the Bank's Performance analysis, Deep Dive analysis, and Feasibility Study recommendation from the Specialist to ensure the completeness and quality of the analysis are appropriate and top notch standard accepted by Board of Management.


• Provide the clear milestones and action plan for the Project Team when undertaking the white space project, and fully responsible for all the delivery.


• Establish a productive and positive working environment to ensure that all the analysis and process done are according to the accepted framework/ standard and impactful to the Bank and manage sensitive information obtained.

Job Requirement :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.


• Minimum 5 years of working experience in banking industry, consultant, or Corporate Planning/Strategy Planning related positions with strong sense of financial and risk understanding.


• Minimum 2 years experience in managerial level or in other proven leadership role


• Strong understanding of strategic planning, budgeting, performance management, and project governance.


• Proven experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and executive-level stakeholder management.


• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
