Job summary

Six Senses Bali is seeking an Assistant Director of Groups and Events to lead the Groups and Events operations at the resort. You will oversee event strategy, client development, and planning meetings, ensuring exceptional service within brand standards.

The role requires a hospitality degree and 5+ years in senior sales/events, fluency in English, and strong leadership, with knowledge of AV, contract management, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
• Five+ years in a senior sales/marketing role in luxury hotels.
• 5+ years in Group and Events operations or as a Conference Services Manager.
• Familiar with sales processes and group/events management software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Event Strategy and Operations and ensure accurate communications and turnover.
• Prospect and maintain local partner accounts through calls, visits, and events.
• Oversee banquet events and review function spaces with the banquet manager.
• Attend meetings with resort host and clients, including short and long planning sessions.
• Assist with inquiries in sales, marketing, and Group & Event departments.
• Maintain understanding of Conference Services and assist as needed.
• Liaise with vendors (AV, florists, entertainment, transport, DMC, etc.).
• Contribute to weekly/monthly/annual financial planning and budgets.
