Job summary

COMAEA CONSULTING PTE. LTD's client, a leading marine equipment manufacturer, seeks a Marine Service Engineer (Mechanical) based in Indonesia (remote) to support local and international shipping customers.

You will report to the Technical Manager in Singapore and deliver installation, commissioning, validation, and maintenance of capital equipment onsite and at the workshop, while providing hands-on technical service and data recording; travel internationally over 60% to fix customer issues.

Qualifications

A mechanical, mechatronic or marine engineer by qualification.
Over 7 years of technical (field) experience in repairs, maintenance, and commissioning in marine/shipping/offshore industries.
Strong mechanical engineering experience; electrical works also handled is a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally (more than 60%).

Responsibilities

Install, commission, validate and maintain capital equipment onsite and at the workshop.
Serve as a customer-facing technical resource and collaborate with technicians and clients.
Create and maintain installation data, service information and repair logs in the company database.
Ensure workshop tools and equipment are organized, clean and ready for use.
