Job summary

PT Obor Indonesia is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional in Jakarta to lead import, purchasing, and procurement activities. The role requires a strong understanding of ETD/ETA, documentation, and vendor coordination, with hands-on Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipment schedules, ensuring compliant documents, resolving delays, and coordinating with suppliers, forwarders, warehouse, and purchasing teams to keep the import process efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Import, Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Strong understanding of import process, shipment, ETD/ETA, supplier coordination, and import documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ETD, ETA, shipment schedule.
• Review and check import documents, including Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Certificate of Origin, other required documents.
• Handle and follow up shipment delays.
• Negotiate with forwarder for LCL, FCL shipment and by air shipment.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of import documentation and support the import process in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with supplier, forwarder, warehouse, purchasing.
