Job summary

PT UMAX HUB INDONESIA seeks an experienced Customs Clearance Specialist to handle import/export clearance, prepare and review declarations and documents, and coordinate with Bea Cukai, freight forwarders, and related agencies.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related fields with at least 3 years in customs clearance, strong regulatory knowledge, and English proficiency; must work well under pressure and in teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Customs Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in customs clearance.
• Good understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Knowledge of LARTAS, BPOM, HS CODE, Karantina, MoT import permit processes and product classification
• Familiarity with INSW, CEISA, PIB, and PEB systems.
• Certification from DJBC/PPJK training is highly preferred (e.g., Sertifikasi Kepabeanan Tingkat Dasar or Ahli Kepabeanan)
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Able to work quickly, responsively, and accurately.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle customs clearance processes for import and export activities.
• Prepare, review, and ensure the completeness of customs documentation (Import Declaration/PIB, Export Declaration/PEB, Invoice, Packing List, etc.).
• Coordinate with Customs (Bea Cukai), freight forwarders, and related government agencies.
• Monitor the cargo release process until completion.
• Ensure all customs clearance processes comply with applicable customs regulations.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during the customs clearance process.
• Stay updated on the latest customs regulations.
