Job summary

XCMG Group is seeking a Customs Clearance Supervisor in Indonesia to manage end-to-end import/export clearance, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize costs. You will lead a clearance team, coordinate with authorities and forwarders, and deliver accurate reporting and audits.

The role requires 3+ years in customs clearance, a relevant degree, and strong English communication, with mobility between office and port as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, customs, supply chain management, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Customs Clearance Supervisor or in a similar role in Indonesia.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian import-export regulations, customs procedures, tariff policies, and INSW system.
• Proven experience in handling complex customs clearance issues and managing a customs team.
• Experience with import licenses (API), PI Besi Baja, Audit Bea Cukai, SNI, BPOM registrations, COO is advantageous.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Strong compliance mindset with cost optimization and process improvement.
• Willing to work mobile (from office to port) for clearance import process.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export customs clearance processes, including document verification, customs declaration, and duty and tax settlement.
• Ensure all customs clearance activities comply with regulations while minimizing operational and compliance risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Customs authorities, government agencies, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the customs clearance team while driving process and cost optimization initiatives.
• Prepare reports and data analysis and support audit activities and other import-export requirements.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in international Trade, Logistics, Customs, Supply Chain Management, or related fields (Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Customs Clearance Supervisor or in a similar role in Indonesia.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian import-export regulations, customs procedures, tariff policies, and the INSW system.
• Proven experience in handling complex customs clearance issues and managing a customs team.
• Experience in handling import licenses (API), PI Besi Baja, Audit Bea Cukai, SNI, BPOM registrations, and Certificates of Origin (COO) will be an added advantage.
