Job summary

Barsan Global Logistics is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Specialist to manage end-to-end air and ocean operations. You will coordinate bookings, document handling, billing, and customer communication to ensure on-time delivery and accurate P&L tracking.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of FCL/LCL, Incoterms, customs procedures, and strong collaboration with internal teams to maintain quality service for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or a similar role is preferred.
• Experience with air and/or ocean freight import and export operations.
• Good understanding of FCL, LCL, Incoterms, shipping documentation, customs processes, and international transportation procedures.
• Experience with shipment billing, cost entry, vendor invoices, and file-level profit & loss tracking is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational and financial records.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air and ocean freight import and export operations from booking to delivery.
• Handle and monitor FCL, LCL, and ocean freight shipments for timely execution.
• Coordinate bookings, pick-ups, departures, and customs clearance processes.
• Communicate daily with shipping lines, carriers, brokers, warehouses, and customers.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and other shipping docs.
• Track shipments and provide customers with status updates.
