Job summary

PT. Barsan Global Logistics.. is seeking an Export Customer Service Officer to oversee sea and air export shipments from booking to delivery.

You will be the main contact for customers, shipping lines and internal teams to keep shipments on schedule with proper documentation. Responsibilities include arranging bookings, preparing export documents (SI, BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, PEB, Origin), tracking shipments through clearance and delivery, and providing timely status updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transport, or related field required.
• At least 3 years in export customer service or export operations.
• Solid knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations and freight forwarding.
• Hands-on experience with SI, BL, AWB, PEB, CEISA and Incoterms.
• Strong written and spoken English for overseas collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple shipments under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage export shipments by sea and air from start to finish.
• Prepare and check export documents such as SI, BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, PEB and Origin.
• Arrange bookings with lines, airlines, co-loaders, trucking, warehouses and customs brokers.
• Track shipments through documentation, customs clearance and delivery.
• Provide customers with timely shipment status updates and answer inquiries.
• Resolve issues such as delays, rollovers, inspections, or documentation errors.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations and Warehousing, plus overseas agents.
• Keep shipment records and reports prepared for audit.
