Samudera Indonesia is seeking a results-driven chartering and sales professional to manage end-to-end processes, negotiate freight terms, and maximize vessel utilization. You will cultivate key customer relationships, coordinate with Operations on contract terms, and lead chartering staff while delivering monthly performance insights.

The role emphasizes strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills, with a focus on achieving Time Charter Equivalent and revenue targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in naval architecture, marine engineering or related maritime field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in chartering, shipping or maritime operations.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sales process including prospecting, freight offer negotiations, and closing deals to maximize vessel employment.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships as primary contact.
• Oversee contract preparation and coordinate with Operations to ensure shipments align with contracts.
• Supervise Chartering staff activities and prepare monthly performance reports for chartered vessels.
• Report shipping and chartering performance directly to the Chartering Manager.
