Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Define and execute a 3–5 year strategic roadmap to evolve the property into a premier "Must-Visit" coastal resort and recreation destination, aligning with regional tourism trends and market shifts in Indonesia.

Maximize the value of the resort footprint and beachfront by identifying underutilized spaces for new revenue streams, such as high-margin VIP amenities, exclusive beachfront events, glamping/staycation expansions, and family recreation activities.

Lead the digital transformation of the guest journey—implementing seamless online booking/ticketing systems, optimizing mobile & social media ecosystems, and leveraging CRM data to drive high-value repeat stays and visits.

Provide expert oversight on CAPEX investments, ensuring that new facility developments, room/villa upgrades, beach amenities, and recreational attractions deliver a high Return on Investment (ROI) and elevate brand equity.

Design and execute high-impact commercial strategies to boost occupancy, visitor footfall, and secondary spend across F&B, water sports, beach rentals, wellness, and private/corporate events.

Expand the resort’s market reach by cultivating strong partnerships with corporate clients, travel trade networks, MICE planners, community partners, and regional tourism boards.

Build a high-performance team culture rooted in hospitality excellence, guest satisfaction, safety, and continuous operational efficiency to achieve financial and service delivery targets.

Oversee day-to-day resort and recreational operations, including managing overall P&L, operational budgets, staffing, maritime/beach safety protocols, and estate maintenance.

Ensure 100% compliance with environmental, marine, safety, labor, and local regulatory standards relevant to coastal resort and tourism management in Indonesia.

Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement, driving innovation in beachfront recreation, guest experience touchpoints, and operational resilience.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years as General Manager Resort, Resort Manager with a proven track record in beach resorts, cabin/glamping staycations, coastal hospitality, or large-scale recreation facilities.

A visionary leader with high EQ, capable of inspiring multi-departmental resort teams while maintaining strict discipline on financial, environmental, and safety metrics.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Proven success in managing combined resort and recreational operations, with strong achievements in commercial sales, occupancy growth, and F&B/recreation yield management.

Strong business acumen with demonstrated expertise in complex P&L management, yield optimization, dynamic pricing, and financial forecasting.

Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, OTA distribution strategies, resort brand management, and consumer behavior in the leisure and hospitality sectors.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to foster strong relationships with local authorities, community stakeholders, and corporate clients.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities tailored to long-term resort asset growth and operational continuity.

Strategic familiarity with the Indonesian leisure market, regional travel patterns, and relevant maritime/coastal safety regulations.
