Job summary

PT Kage MC Manufacturing is seeking a General Manager to lead overall company operations, optimize performance, and drive productivity while controlling costs across departments.

The ideal candidate holds an S2 in Industrial Engineering or related field with 8–10 years in senior management, preferably in manufacturing such as battery or automotive components. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and cost control are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum S2 education from Industrial Engineering, Management, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• 8–10 years of work experience with 3–5 years in senior management roles (GM/Plant/Ops).
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably battery or automotive components.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and oversee execution of company operational activities.
• Develop annual plans, strategies, and performance programs per Board targets.
• Translate Board policies into measurable, department-level work programs.
• Ensure departments work in an integrated way to meet targets.
• Identify opportunities for business development and efficiency gains.

The General Manager leads overall company operations, optimizes departmental performance, increases productivity, controls operational costs, and supports achievement of business targets in accordance with Board direction. The role encompasses strategic management, operational oversight, financial control, human resource leadership, quality and compliance management, and business development coordination.

Key responsibilities

Lead, direct, and oversee execution of company operational activities comprehensively

Develop annual work plans, operational strategies, and performance improvement programs based on targets set by the Board

Translate Board policies and directives into measurable work programs implementable by each department

Ensure all departments work in an integrated manner to achieve company targets

Identify opportunities for business development, operational efficiency, and increased competitiveness

Oversee production planning and execution to align with customer needs, production capacity, and delivery schedules

Ensure effective utilization of labor, machinery, materials, and production facilities

Control achievement of output targets, productivity, product quality, and defect rates

Coordinate with production, PPIC, purchasing, warehouse, and quality control to maintain smooth operational processes

Evaluate production obstacles and ensure corrective actions are implemented

About you

Minimum S2 education from Industrial Engineering, Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Minimum 8-10 years work experience, with minimum 3-5 years in General Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent senior managerial position

Preferred experience in manufacturing companies, particularly battery, automotive components, or similar industries

Understanding of production processes, capacity planning, quality control, inventory management, and cost control

Ability to develop business strategy, work plans, budgets, and company KPIs

Experience leading multiple departments and managing cross-functional teams

Capable of analyzing operational and financial data to support decision-making

Understanding of occupational safety and health principles, environmental management, and manufacturing regulatory compliance

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for analysis and performance reporting
