Job summary

Hop Lun Group, a global garment manufacturer, seeks a Production Manager with at least 5 years in garment production leadership to oversee Sewing, Cutting, and Packing operations.

Based in Indonesia, the role requires strong planning, resource management, and a focus on quality, cost control, and safety, while driving continuous improvement across 5S and cross-department coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in garment production leadership.
• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering or Production Management.
• English proficiency; local language for expatriates.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of sewing processes, especially underwear.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning and Scheduling: create detailed production schedules to meet targets and delivery dates.
• Resource Management: ensure availability of raw materials, machinery, and workforce.
• Production Process Supervision: oversee sewing to packing, and QC to meet standards.
• Quality Assurance: monitor QC and minimize defects to match buyer specs.
• Cost Control and Efficiency: analyze budget and minimize waste.
• Team Leadership and Management: lead production team and evaluate performance.
• Equipment Maintenance: organize repair and preventive maintenance.
• Inter-Departmental Coordination: liaise with merchandising, warehousing, sales and management.
• Health and Safety: enforce guidelines for a safe working environment.
• Implementing and sustaining 5S.
