PT Gistex Garmen Indonesia is seeking an experienced Merchandiser Garment to join our Bandung-based team. You will manage the merchandising lifecycle, coordinating between design, production and sales to meet market demand, quality standards and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include planning, costing, stock control, data analysis and reporting to senior management, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a merchandiser in garments/textiles.
• Knowledge of garment production processes, materials and quality standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data interpretation.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain merchandise plans aligned with seasonal trends, market demands, and sales targets.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure specifications, quality standards, and timelines are met.
• Manage product costing, pricing strategies, and profit margins to optimise profitability across the garment range.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement stock management practices to minimise wastage and overstock.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvements and new lines.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with production schedules and quality requirements.
• Prepare detailed merchandise reports and presentations for senior management.
• Liaise with the sales team to gather feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout merchandising processes.
