Job summary

PT. Metrodata Electronics, Tbk is seeking an ERP Functional Consultant to support implementation and ongoing maintenance of ERP Financial modules based on business requirements.

You will gather and analyze business needs, translate them into functional specifications, and assist in configuring ERP Financial modules to align with processes. You will work closely with business users, technical consultants, and developers, ensuring proper addressing of requirements and delivering thorough

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, ERP Consultant, Business Analyst, or related role in IT/ERP.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed assets.
• Experience with ERP Financial modules (Oracle EBS/Fusion, SAP, MS Dynamics or others).
• Knowledge of business process analysis and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with ERP configuration and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with testing, UAT, issue tracking, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional language a plus.
• Experience or education in Accounting/Finance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of ERP Financial modules per business requirements.
• Gather and analyze user requirements and translate into functional specs.
• Configure and setup ERP Financial modules according to business processes.
• Collaborate with users, consultants, developers, and stakeholders to address requirements.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation and process flows.
• Assist with system testing, integration testing, and UAT including test cases and issue tracking.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams.
• Provide user support on ERP Financial module functionality and processes.
• Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and data-related activities during ERP projects.
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates on tasks.
• Support creation of user guides and training materials for ERP users.

Job description

• Support the implementation and maintenance of ERP Financial modules based on business requirements.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements from users.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration and development.
• Assist in the configuration and setup of ERP Financial modules according to business processes and requirements.
• Work closely with Business Users, Technical Consultants, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure functional requirements are properly addressed.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation.
• Support system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation and issue tracking.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams when further technical investigation is required.
• Provide user support and assistance related to ERP Financial module functionality and business processes.
• Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and other activities required during ERP implementation or enhancement projects.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates regarding assigned tasks and functional activities.
• Support the preparation of user guides, training materials, and knowledge transfer for ERP Financial users.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, ERP Consultant, Business Analyst, or related role, preferably within the IT/ERP industry.
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting business processes, such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, and/or Fixed Assets.
• Experience or familiarity with ERP Financial modules, such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
• Understanding of business process analysis and requirement gathering.
• Basic understanding of ERP configuration and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with system testing, UAT, issue tracking, and troubleshooting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both business users and technical teams.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is a plus.
• Experience or educational background in Accounting/Finance is a strong advantage.
