Job summary

PT. Metrodata Electronics Tbk. is seeking a Functional Consultant to support ERP Financial modules, gather requirements, translate them into specs, and assist with configuration and testing.

The role involves close collaboration with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders, plus creating user guides and training materials for ERP users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, CS or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as Functional/ERP Consultant or Business Analyst.
• Fundamental knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cash Management or Fixed Assets.
• Experience with ERP Financial modules (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support ERP Financial module implementation and maintenance per business requirements.
• Gather and analyze business and functional user requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for configuration and development.
• Assist in ERP module setup and configuration to align with processes.
• Collaborate with users, consultants, and developers to address requirements.
• Create and maintain functional documentation and process guides.
• Support testing activities including test case prep and issue tracking.
• Analyze issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Provide user support and training materials for ERP Financial users.
• Assist data validation, reconciliation, and project-related activities.
• Participate in project meetings and report on task progress.

• Assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements from users.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration and development.
• Assist in the configuration and setup of ERP Financial modules according to business processes and requirements.
• Work closely with Business Users, Technical Consultants, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure functional requirements are properly addressed.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation.
• Support system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation and issue tracking.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams when further technical investigation is required.
• Provide user support and assistance related to ERP Financial module functionality and business processes.
• Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and other activities required during ERP implementation or enhancement projects.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates regarding assigned tasks and functional activities.
• Support the preparation of user guides, training materials, and knowledge transfer for ERP Financial users.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, ERP Consultant, Business Analyst, or related role, preferably within the IT/ERP industry.
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting business processes, such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, and/or Fixed Assets.
• Experience or familiarity with ERP Financial modules, such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
• Understanding of business process analysis and requirement gathering.
• Basic understanding of ERP configuration and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with system testing, UAT, issue tracking, and troubleshooting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both business users and technical teams.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is a plus.
• Experience or educational background in Accounting/Finance is a strong advantage.
