The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Functional Consultant role supports ERP implementation projects from requirements analysis through to post-implementation support, working closely with business users and technical teams. Based in Jakarta or Cikarang depending on domicile, the position covers process analysis, system configuration, testing, training, and business process improvement.
Gather and analyse business requirements by working closely with stakeholders
Conduct interviews and fit-gap analysis sessions
Prepare and maintain issue lists and as-is and to-be process flow documents
Propose solutions and resolutions for identified gaps
Configure ERP modules based on business processes
Collaborate with technical teams to customise systems when required
Support ERP implementation activities, including data migration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and System Integration Testing (SIT)
Develop user manuals and training materials
Conduct training sessions and provide post-implementation support to end users
Identify opportunities for business process improvement and implement optimisation initiatives
Bachelor’s degree (S1/D4) in Engineering, Production Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
2–5 years of experience as an ERP consultant, ERP system implementer, or in a related role
Good understanding of ERP systems and manufacturing industry processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in English
Professional attitude and ability to remain composed in complex situations
Japanese communication skills will be an advantage but are not mandatory
Knowledge of manufacturing accounting and cost management modules will be an advantage
A Japanese company in the information technology industry with operations in Indonesia. The company provides planning, consulting, implementation, operation, and maintenance support for corporate information systems, with particular experience in ERP solutions for the manufacturing industry.
