Job summary

Poppys Kitchen and Bar in North Kuta, Bali is hiring a Waiter for a full-time, on-site role. You will be the face of the restaurant, delivering outstanding service and ensuring guests have memorable dining experiences.

You will handle orders, payments and collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain quality and efficiency. Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong English communication, attention to detail, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as a waiter or in a similar hospitality role (restaurant/bar/hotel).
• Strong communication and professional interaction with guests.
• Excellent order accuracy and payment handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide menus and beverages.
• Take accurate orders and relay to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and drinks promptly with correct presentation.
• Know current menu items, ingredients, and recommendations.
• Answer guest questions with courtesy and efficiency.
• Set tables properly and clear them after guests leave.
• Manage multiple tables while maintaining high service standards.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash/card transactions.
• Keep dining area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and housekeeping for seamless service.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
