Samudera Indonesia is hiring for a logistics role focused on documentation, tracking, and all-orientation toward accurate port and shipment processes.

You will draft bills of lading, issue delivery orders promptly, and confirm vessel arrivals while ensuring data accuracy across multiple systems. The role emphasizes risk awareness, timely communication, and process improvement within a dynamic shipping environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or transportation and related field.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping mindset.
• Creative approach to improving operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and send Bill of Lading (B/L) drafts to customers for approval.
• Prepare and issue Delivery Order (DO) collection letters to relevant parties.
• Send booking confirmations and release orders to customers within one day of receiving Shipping Instructions.
• Track the progress of container repairs at depots to ensure timely completion.
• Confirm the arrival of vessels and the actual discharge of containers to ensure proper unloading.
• Measure and monitor the time difference between container discharge and return to identify delays.
• Validate vessel arrival data by cross-referencing between the shipping line website and terminal website.
• Perform final checks on the shipping manifest before submitting it to Customs.
