Job summary

IBMC is assisting a UK-based fast-growing 3PL and e-commerce fulfilment group with a Freight and Business Analyst Engagement. The role is based in Indonesia and supports a dual mandate of freight operations and business analysis, including documenting SOPs and building a Notion knowledge base.

You will collaborate with UK leadership on rate benchmarking and cost analysis. The position emphasizes carrier rate procurement, lane tendering, and executive reporting, with a focus on scalable processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics procurement, carrier rate negotiation, or 3PL operations.
• Proven ability to map processes and write SOPs and runbooks.
• Strong data analysis, rate benchmarking, and cost modeling skills.
• Clear communication with UK leadership and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Procurement & Rate Desk: benchmark rates, run lane tendering, build rate databases, negotiate improvements.
• Freight Operational Execution: manage core freight workflows, tracking, and client updates.
• SOP & Knowledge Base Build: capture knowledge in Notion, create SOPs and checklists.
• Billable Activity & Revenue Capture: audit operations to ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Business Analysis & Executive Reporting: cost analysis, Notion updates, daily reports, special projects.
• Pre-Despatch Quality Control: implement checks to prevent shipping errors.
