Job summary

IBMC is seeking a Freight and Business Analyst to join a fast-growing UK 3PL/e-commerce group. The role is dual-mandate: 60% freight commercial & operations, 40% business analysis, translating volumes into rate cards and executive insights.

You will learn end-to-end freight operations from senior UK leads, document workflows into SOPs, maintain Notion workspace, and deliver weekly executive reporting aligned with UK business hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or shipping operations.
• Strong English (C1) written and spoken.
• Experience in rate benchmarking, pricing, or carrier management.
• Ability to document processes and write SOPs (Notion a plus).
• Experience with shipping documentation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Benchmark, chase, and negotiate freight rates with carriers and forwarders.
• Handle core freight operations and prepare shipment documentation.
• Document SOPs and build runbooks to map workflows in Notion.
• Build recurring management dashboards and executive reports.
